Preservation New Jersey
Preservation New Jersey, a historic preservation organization located
in Trenton, received a grant to redesign their outdated web presence
and turn it into an online resource for New Jersey preservation
information. They selected PageHealer to bring the project to life.
The original website looked sparse, with a lack of organization
and little content regarding the group's important work.

PageHealer redesigned the site with a soothing color palette, striking
imagery and a thoughtful navigational structure. The visual design
contains many images of hands holding photos of the historic sites,
to emphasize PNJ's focus on community and diversity, as well as
the people behind the buildings themselves.

The new site is fully database-driven with a content management
system that allows PNJ staff to easily edit the site themselves.
It integrates their extensive database of endangered sites, allowing
users to browse by county, and includes job and event listings where
anyone can recommend information to be posted. PNJ staff are notified
by e-mail when an item has been suggested, and if they approve it,
the item appears automatically on the website.
